Global Enterprise Relationship Lead – BioPharma Segment

The Global Enterprise Relationship Lead is a highly visible role with exposure to divisional commercial leaders, our corporate leadership team and customer C-Suite executives. They will own partnership account plan strategy development and execution. They will work closely with a broad network of internal partners to define and deliver innovative solutions. These solutions will demonstrate our total value proposition to convey substantial and sustained impact for both our customers and Thermo Fisher Scientific. They will be responsible for leading high-performance Account Management Teams. These teams are in an intercultural, diverse, virtual, matrix environment. They will often have to ensure alignment on overall partnership strategy in the face of competing interests and priorities.

This role offers a truly unique opportunity to work closely with the full suite of Thermo Fisher Scientific products and capabilities. You will collaborate with the leaders who are responsible for them, and our most strategic customers who rely on them every day.

Key Responsibilities:

Translate deep customer insights into meaningful partnership opportunities that deliver value to both our customers and Thermo FisherLead the AMTs in the creation of overall account strategy, demonstrating our breadth and depth of capabilities to create high-impact, innovative, science- and customer-centric solutionsBuild credible, influential relationships with a broad network of internal and external partners, and help facilitate customer access for our divisional colleaguesActively engage with partnership executive sponsors and members of the Thermo Fisher Leadership Team to extend customer value creationAct as the primary interface between our strategic partners and Thermo Fisher, leading governance activities, sourcing new needs/opportunities, and supporting resolution of critical issuesNegotiate large and sophisticated deal structuresCreate a successful, inclusive, and honest work environment that champion our 4i values

Keys to Success:

Education

B.Sc. degree, preferably in a scientific field (chemistry, biochemistry, or chemical engineering); MBA or professional business education is highly desirable

Experience

Minimum of 7 years in a senior level account management or business development position within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, fine chemical, contract research or laboratory supply sectorsExtensive experience working within a matrix environment and driving alignment on a common purposeStrong business and financial skill, including understanding of the P&L drivers, dynamics, and trade-offsDeep and sincere passion for crafting an inclusive, supportive, and collaborative team environmentPositive demeanor and resiliency to changing business environmentsAbility to spend significant time on site at global customer locationsExperience calling into large Pharmaceutical Accounts is strongly preferred
