You’re not just experienced, you’re curious, bold, and pragmatic. You know how to spot capability gaps, and more importantly, how to close them. You think globally, act locally, and thrive in complexity.

What are we looking for?

5+ years’ experience in E-Commerce, Sales, or Marketing, ideally in global or matrixed organizations

Strong project and stakeholder management skills, with a track record of cross-functional delivery

Experience designing and executing commercial upskilling programs, especially in digital merchandising or online retail environments

Ability to navigate and support varied maturity levels across regions

Proactive and collaborative mindset, with a focus on enabling performance through learning

Fluency in English

Familiarity with commercial capability frameworks or sales enablement platforms is a nice to have.

What will be your key responsibilities?

1. Capability Building

Design and lead the global E-Commerce Capability Assessment to identify skill, process, and cultural gaps across the organization.

Monitor progress over time and escalate needs to inform targeted upskilling programs, such as the E-Commerce Academy.

Build a 360° view of E-Commerce capabilities across all functions (Demand, Supply, Finance, etc.), and collaborate with internal stakeholders and external experts to deliver high-impact training solutions.

Ensure the E-Commerce team is equipped with consistent, scalable tools and resources that enable best-in-class execution in a fast-evolving omnichannel environment.

2. Career Pathing and Talent Retention

Partner with People & Organization (P&O) teams to develop structured career paths tailored to E-Commerce roles, aligned with the channel’s strategic importance.

Identify key competencies for advancement across different functions and levels, and support the deployment of programs that promote long-term talent development.

Drive internal awareness and adoption of these frameworks to support retention and engagement in critical digital roles.

3. Best Practice Sharing and Community Engagement

Act as the global lead for Mars’ internal best practice platform, WeGrow, fostering a culture of continuous learning across markets and functions.

Deploy and support a global network of ambassadors to drive tool adoption and knowledge sharing.

Integrate engagement levers such as recognition systems, gamification, and peer learning challenges.

Lead internal campaigns to promote the platform and ensure visibility of key success stories.

Continuously track usage and engagement metrics to refine and enhance the strategy.

4. E-Commerce Reporting and Analytics

Lead the development of capability and performance dashboards to ensure E-Commerce is well represented in internal reporting and decision-making forums.

Partner with Category and CMI teams to integrate external insights, including competitive intelligence and market share data, into internal narratives.

Elevate the visibility and strategic relevance of E-Commerce through data-driven storytelling.

What can you expect from Mars?

At Mars, we believe in a relationship of mutual trust, dignity and respect between our company and Associates that is more meaningful than the standard employer/employee relationship.

As Associates, we can expect to be respected, supported and valued as individuals, to be treated fairly and equitably.

You will work in a multicultural environment (more than 40 nationalities) and where your dog will be welcomed by more than 100 other Associates’ dogs at the office!

You will work in a unique campus, which gathers more than 800 Associates working for: the international HQ, the French subsidiary, two laboratories, a kennel and a cattery with more than 200 cats & dogs, and finally the most important factory of the Royal Canin group

A unique and ideal work environment to become the leader in health through nutrition for cats and dogs!
