As a Global Due Diligence Head within the Global Payments team, you will be responsible for leading a team of Due Diligence writers, managing questionnaires from existing Payments clients and regulators across all regions. Your role will also involve fostering productive working relationships within the team, with Product and Sales teams, and other stakeholders in various locations. Additionally, you will be tasked with effectively managing multiple priorities and meeting strict deadlines.
Job responsibilities:
Gain a broad knowledge of J.P. Morgan Payments products and services and J.P. Morgan as a firmLiaise with the Payments Product, Sales, Client Service, Legal and Compliance teams to compose new DD responses and amending existing responses in order to address client queriesManage a team comprised of DD writers that covers Payments clients in all regionsBe the Escalation point for all DD-related issues across all regionsManage and is an expert in handling DD projects to completion, including responsibility for production of the final document and supplementary materialsRespond to ad hoc information requests from the sales team and wider client service communityWork on developing an effective working relationships with key internal clients, including product, sales, client management and operations teamsSpearhead innovation projects that can add value to the process and create impactful developments to the existing team
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
Excellent oral and written communication skills, particularly with experience in business and technical writing and handling and communicating with stakeholdersHighly proficient in Microsoft WordFamiliarity of Legal, Compliance and Risk Management in the finance and/or banking industryProficiency in the financial markets and general understanding of financial instruments is requiredExperience in Project Management requiredEffective time management and organizational skills Ability to pay rigorous attention to detail and has the ability to work under pressure and requests with tight deadlines Good team player and team leader with the ability to lead initiatives in terms of team building, organization and prioritizing
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
College degree (BA or BS) with a legal, business, economics and/or finance background is preferredExperience in sales support e.g. financial writer or a role that has required some degree of report/ technical writingExperience in handling a team and can drive team’s performanceKnowledgeable in Microsoft PowerPoint and Excel
