**Job Description:**
We are currently seeking a Global Director of Human Resources for Caterpillar's newly formed **Integrated Components Division** (ICD). This division is responsible for component development and manufacturing, and is a very an important element of Caterpillar’s strategy to unlock new opportunities, accelerating innovation and delivering even greater value to our customers.
The Integrated Components Division is responsible for the manufacturing of Wear Components (Undercarriage and GET), Maintenance Components (Seals, Tubes & Hardware, Hose & Couplings, Fluids and Filters), Advanced Components Manufacturing, Product design and development of Hydraulics and Cabs strategy.
As we deliver for our customer, we accomplish this as one team– creating and delivering world-class components and solutions superior to the competition.
As the **ICD Global Director of Human Resources** you will lead the development and implementation of HR strategies supporting an 11,000+ employee workforce aligned with business objectives, providing guidance on HR policies and practices and fostering a culture of employee engagement and development.
**What you will do:**
+ **Collaborate with senior management** as a strategic advisor helping identify and prioritize HR initiatives that align with the organization's strategic goals and objectives.
+ **Align HR policies and programs** for the division which promote employee engagement, retention, and performance.
+ **Act as a trusted coach providing guidance to leaders and managers** on HR-related matters, including, Employee Relations/Labor, performance management, compensation, and benefits, etc.
+ **Analyze HR metrics and data** to identify trends and opportunities and develop a story to provide data-driven recommendations to senior management.
+ **Lead a team of HR leaders** to collaborate effectively with other Centers of Excellence and serve as thought leaders to the business and HR.
+ **Lead, support, and influence** the design and change management approach of large-scale talent-focused change efforts impacting highly matrixed lines of business.
**Degree requirement:**
Degree or equivalent experience desired.

Extensive knowledge of the importance of collaboration among team members and the ability to enroll stakeholders in communicating and coordinating activities to support the organization's vision and strategies.

Expert level knowledge of leadership practices and processes; ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives while having a long-term perspective of the future state of things and how to get there.
**Talent Management:**
Expert level knowledge of how an organization attracts, recruits, retains, identifies and develops talent; ability to develop the talent required for an organization to achieve its short-term and long-term goals.
**Location:**
This role will be based out of Caterpillar's Headquaters in Irving, TX. Domestic relocation if offered for this role.
**Additional Details:**
+ This role is on-site, five days a week.
+ Up to 25 % travel is expected for this role. (Could be a fraction higher in first year getting acclimated to the business).
+ This position is eligible for stock or other equity grants pursuant to Caterpillar’s long-term incentive plan.
**Summary Pay Range:**
$212,880.00 - $319,320.00
Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
