Job description
We are looking for a strategic and creative Global Digital Marketing Associate Manager to lead WASA’s global social media presence and drive digital brand engagement. In this role, you’ll manage global campaigns, oversee regional activations, and ensure consistency across digital platforms in line with the brand’s global strategy. You'll collaborate cross-functionally with marketing teams and external agencies to deliver compelling content and impactful 360° campaigns. Job Purpose
As the Global Digital Marketing Associate Manager you will be responsible for managing global social media channels, driving engagement, and ensuring a consistent brand image across digital platforms. You will oversee regional digital activations, collaborate with internal teams and external partners, and ensure all digital efforts align with the overall brand strategy.
Key Accountabilities:
· Assist in defining the WASA brand vision, mission, and overall strategy, including product positioning and messaging.
· Manage WASA’s global social media channels, including content creation, publishing, and engagement for global campaigns and initiatives.
· Develop new ways to engage the digital community, respond to social media posts, and foster brand-related discussions.
· Oversee local social media channels, ensuring activations align with the global brand strategy while allowing for regional customization.
· Monitor and analyze the performance and KPIs of digital activations, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
· Provide guidelines for local market content adaptation to ensure a coherent brand image across all digital touchpoints.
· Work closely with global marketing teams (Media, Procurement, Shopper Marketing, Digital) to maintain alignment and efficiency in marketing efforts.
· Support the creation and execution of 360-degree marketing campaigns, working with communication and advertising agencies across multiple channels (TV, digital, social media, etc.).
· Stay up to date with social media trends, monitor online discussions, and analyze market developments to inform digital strategy.
· Support the development and enforcement of brand guidelines, ensuring consistency across all marketing materials and platforms.
Desired Skills and Background:
· 4 + years of experience in digital marketing, social media management, or brand management.
· Strong understanding of social media platforms, trends, and engagement strategies.
· Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable strategies.
· Experience working with influencers, media planning, and digital activations.
· Strong project management skills and ability to collaborate across teams and regions.
· Excellent communication skills and a strategic mindset.
