Collins Aerospace is seeking to hire a Manager of Global Demand Planning.  This position is a lead position within the Wheels & Brakes SIOP organization, responsible for managing a team of demand planners as well as development and maintenance of short and long term consensus demand plans.  This role provides the opportunity to work cross-functionally across multiple internal and external stakeholders to ensure demand stability and ensure demand alignment that supports the execution of critical operational goals.  

The Manager of Global Demand Planning will also lead in the development and implementation of new forecasting tools to simplify growing business complexities, improve forecast accuracy, and drive long-term planning improvements.

What You Will Do:

You will work onsite at our Troy, Ohio facility.Ownership and execution of demand planning processes for multiple Wheels & Brakes programs with domestic and global interaction with the Carbon, MRO and OEM facilities to provide long range market demand visibility in support of financial planning, internal and external capacity planning, and the overall SI&OP process.Own 5-year forecast as a cross-functional team with contracts, Regional Business Managers, Operations/Supply Chain and Value Stream leadershipLead monthly SIOP demand review meetings, ensuring proper escalation of topics as needed, owning scenario analysis with proposals, and driving actions/decisions to completionTrack key demand planning metrics, forecast accuracy and bias, to identify issues and drive continuous improvement. Drive process improvements and automation for demand planning tools to reduce manual data aggregation, increase forecast accuracy, and develop reporting tools to drive business insights.Communicate complex strategies or proposals concisely and in succinct written or presented formats to a wide variety of stakeholders for purposes ranging from informing working teams to garnering executive level decisions.Serve as the Key Liaison between demand and supply planning to reduce forecast volatility and enable accurate supply planning and efficient supply chain operations.Create high energy, positive culture organization by using the core values of trust and respect.Ensure the team members are engaged, trained and contribute to the success of the site.Lead a team of demand planners overseeing hiring, performance management, and talent development.

Must Have Qualifications:

Typically requires a University Degree and minimum of 8 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and a minimum of 5 years of experiencePrior demand planning and business analytics experiencePrior experience presenting to senior leadership

Qualifications We Prefer:

Demonstrated analytical acumen with a proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple deliverables in fast-paced environmentsProject management experience and expertise in participating with and coordinating cross-functional teams.Prior leadership/people management experiencePrior experience in Kinaxis, SAP/ERP systems and reporting tools.IBF Certified Professional Forecaster designation or equivalentAPICS Certification preferred (CPIM, CSCP)

The salary range for this role is 101,000 USD - 203,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
