Role Overview:
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Global Digital Content Writer to join the Global Marketing Excellence (GME) team to lead writing and copy editing and manage creation, production, and delivery of high-quality content for our digital channels, including Omnipod.com and our global market websites. This role will focus on ensuring content is well written, on brand, medically accurate, and optimized for a diverse, global digital ecosystem in partnership with US and International commercial downstream marketing groups. It is an important role in GME’s mission to elevate Insulet marketing from idea to impact.
The focus of this role is to be the point person for all global web copy. This person will lead the planning, writing, and copy editing of content for our global portfolio of websites. The role will be an integral part of the GME Digital Strategy team’s mission to create a world class Omnipod.com, working with internal partners to execute on their creative ideas as well as proactively proposing ideas based on existing content performance or new opportunities. This role will focus on writing for the website and paid channels, but also will work with the GME Creative Services team to deliver written deliverables for other channels including events, presentations, advertising, print, etc.
They will also partner with the Global Digital Content Producer as part of the content production process from ideation to launch. This requires ensuring all content produced for Omnipod.com (including all markets) and other digital channels is created on time, in line with brand guidelines, with a global mindset, and utilizing best practices.
The ideal candidate has skills in a range of disciplines, including strong writing skills for consumers and healthcare professionals, experience developing digital content strategies, and proven ability in detail-oriented project management.
Responsibilities:
Lead the lifecycle of web copy in coordination with content creation teams and regional stakeholders, including creative development, review, approval, publication, distribution, maintenance, and governance, ensuring content remains fresh, culturally relevant, and in compliance with brand standards and industry regulations
Partner with medical affairs and other experts to translate complex medical information into accessible and engaging content for diverse audiences, including healthcare professionals, patients, caregivers, and the general public.
Partner with the Global SEO Manager to optimize content for SEO, accessibility, and global search engine visibility to enhance user experience across all regions.
Maintain consistency in tone, style, and branding across multilingual and multicultural content.
Collaborate with the Director of Digital Strategy, Global Content Producer, SEO leader and -US and International commercial teams to produce web content that aligns with the Omnipod global brand and objectives.
Work with the GME Creative Services team and subject matter experts in Brand, Digital, DTC, HCP medical professionals, and other team members to outline opportunities within their marketing plans e.g. digital, events, prints etc. to develop new content pieces and where appropriate support their content roadmaps to streamline content production and publication processes
Enable a culture of excellence to refine and institutionalize best practices enabling value generation and thought partnership in bringing campaigns to market
Monitor website performance and user engagement metrics globally to identify areas for improvement.
Stay updated on digital content trends, regional preferences, and best practices to continuously enhance production processes.

Required Skills and Competencies:
Experience writing or adapting website copy optimized for both clarity and search engine optimization
Knowledge of paid digital channels, SEO, web analytics, and localization writing, design, and UX best practices
Copywriting, proof reading and fact checking
Strong project management skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks and deadlines across regions.
Proficiency in content management systems (CMS) and digital tools including Photoshop, Figma, and Wrike, or similar
Strong visual skills with attention to detail, including experience with best practices for website design and layouts
Experience with legal review processes
Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience building consensus and gaining buy-in from colleagues, leaders, and other cross-functional stakeholders
Passion for creating impactful content that improves lives worldwide.
Education and Experience
Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree (Preferred field of study Communications, Marketing, Media Production, or English/Creative Writing)
Marketing writing for both/either consumer marketing brands and/or medical device/healthcare audiences.
Experience in content management in different regions, understanding of translation vs localization processes
Experience writing for web
5+ years of industry experience
Preferred
Medical Device, Pharmaceutical or Healthcare industry experience
Additional Information
Travel is estimated at 10-20% but will flex depending on business needs; international travel is required
Flexibility to take morning and evening calls to align with international business hours as needed

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $115,425.00 - $173,137.50. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position in the primary work location in the US. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
