**Job Family:** Pooling Indirect#Global Commodities **Req ID:** 472559 Siemens is looking for a global commodity manager in Horizontal IT who will be responsible for strategic IT Procurement activities, mainly Application Management Services (AMS), striving for optimum conditions on an excellent supplier base through pooling volumes and common strategies. Strong & close alignment with Global Commodity Management. The role requires a strong ability to develop and maintain key relationships across the Siemens organization, establish and manage supplier relationships, and to interact and communicate effectively with Siemens’ management. Here you will work closely with the respective regions/country procurements to translate the global strategy into local requirementsIn the area of stakeholder/customer management you assume the role of a demand manager You define the right levels of participation based on the respective audience and define a stakeholder engagement plan and an engagement process. This includes preparation and planning, design, commitment, evaluation, and applicationYou take over the supplier management. This includes supplier selection, the 360° review of IT value sourcing suppliers in terms of performance, strategic footprint, and development requirements. Here you actively promote supplier development in cooperation with IT stakeholdersYou conduct annual price negotiations for rate cards for selected countries and extend or update existing master agreements.
