Global Commercial Lead, Konect

Purpose of the position 

\n

The position purpose is twofold. The primary focus is to lead and develop GVR’s Global eMobility business (Konect) with focus on accounts within Forecourt, Convenience and Destination. In practical terms this means growing the “order intake” within accounts that Konect has defined as strategic or of special importance. In this role of Global Commercial Lead you will work with and lead direct reports and in addition actively engage with a selection of target accounts and develop relations with their key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

\n\nEnsure the Order intake for the target accounts globally:  \n\nPrimary focus on the target accounts and countries; Maintains and grows sales level with existing key accounts while laying out and executing action plans to break into new ones to gain competitive share\nAnalyzing variances and leading corrective actions \nDevelop relations at all levels and participate in key meetings with customers or partners to create, maintain and develop the necessary intimacy\n\n\nLead the Konect sales team:  \n\nChallenge and support the team to improve quality and dimension of the funnel of opportunities, to increase coverage, conversion, market share and a balanced product mix\nHold recurrent reviews with the team to measure individual performances versus the target KPIs, providing guidance and coaching\nDrive and actively participate in the preparation of tenders and to key opportunity negotiations\nProvide the team with objectives, support in business cases definition, critical commercial scenarios, major offer preparation, pricing strategy and contract drafting \n\n\nOptimize distribution channel to maximize coverage and increase conversion rate\nAccurately forecast annual, quarterly, and monthly orders and revenue, in line with the corporate forecasting calendar\nProvide inputs and actively contribute to the yearly Budget process, Strategic Planning, and monthly Policy Deployment\nContinuously monitor the market dynamics and correspondingly adapt organizational model and Go-To-Market strategy\nIdentify and coordinate with other functions, promotional activities, and campaigns to drive volumes\nSupport upper management functions with timely reporting, data analysis and risk management \n\n

Position Relationships  

\n

Internal relationships: 

\n\nMaintain a strong relationship with the GVR sales teams across the globe\nFacilitate sensible or complex orders to be processed and delivered by coordinating with Sales Administration and/or Customer Service and/or Operations departments\nCoordinate with the Konect sales team to provide regular S&OP feeds to Operations\nConvey relevant market insights and analysis to the Marketing function as an input to new product developments, product enhancements and marcomm actions \nIdentify relevant trade shows and events to which to participate to maximize customer reach, cooperating with the Marketing function\nTake initiative and drive the preparation and execution of relevant “customer events”, in house or offsite, in support of product launches and sales target achievement\nProvide inputs to the Product Development team for the initial milestones \nCooperate with Finance function to drive sound financial reporting and forecasting\nDevelop team talents in cooperation with the Human Resource function, making use of the corporate talent review tools and processes\nEnsure corporate compliance through the implementation of the programs provided by the Legal team\nSupport Finance department in credit collection activities whenever it is needed\n\n

Qualifications: 

\n\nTeam Leadership\nPresentation skills (to engage and present up to C-level suite)  \nNegotiation skills (to negotiate up to large business terms) \nContracting / legal skills (to draft and negotiate contracts) \nFuel retail business background or experience.\nExperience in sales management, account management and complex sales \n\n

The base compensation range for this position is $200K to $230K per annum. Your actual base salary will be determined based upon numerous factors which may include relevant experience, skills, location (labor market data), credentials (education, certifications), and internal equity. For this specific role, you may be eligible to receive sales commission in addition to the base salary.
