Global Benefits Executive Consultant – Continental Europe

This executive role offers the flexibility to work both virtually and from our Amsterdam office. As a key member of the Global Benefits team you will report directly to the Managing Director Global Benefits Netherlands and Spain and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our employee benefits strategy. What the day will look like As part of an industry-leading team, you will be key to empower results for our Multinational clients by delivering innovative and effective People Risk solutions as part of our Global Benefits Team, within Aon’s Health Solutions business. Global Benefits partners with Multinational companies to optimize their People Risk strategy. The core of our support lies in the management of the insured benefit plans globally and the set up of the employee benefit strategy to manage the spend. This strategy can range from local renewal support, global consolidation through pooling and global underwriting to employee benefits in a captive. In addition we partner with clients on the broader scope of People Risk such as mitigation of claims, Employee Wellbeing, Pay Transparency and Employee Value Propositions in combination with other Aon Expertise Teams such as Talent Assessment and Compensation. This role will provide you with international exposure working with clients and Aon teams across the world with the opportunity to develop yourself, the solutions, and the team. + Partner with our clients to deliver effective employee benefit strategies for the client. With the support of the analysts and consultants on the team. + Working effectively with account team members to ensure timely delivery of consulting projects, while working with colleagues across the region + Responsible for high quality client deliverables for projects run by Global Benefits executed by the analysts on the team. + Grow the revenue in the years to come by winning new clients and expanding existing client relations through leading commercial activities, decide on best approaches for projects and approaches, arranging client events and build your network within Aon. + Collaborating across Aon to deliver the best solutions to our clients + Is functionally responsible for the quality of the people working in the business line; ensuring that performance management, training & development and succession planning are in place How this opportunity is different This role will provide you with International exposure working with clients and Aon teams across the world with the opportunity to develop yourself, the solutions and the team. We have a close-knit team of 10 in Amsterdam, and around 30 across EMEA which provides us with a multicultural environment, with over 5 nationalities and 10 spoken languages in the team. Skills and experience that will lead to success + Extensive experience in international benefits HR consulting firm or professional services firm and/or experience in the Global insurance market/employee benefit insurance market + Expertise in multinational pooling, global underwriting and EB captives with a strategic vision for employee benefits + Strong leadership and analytical skills, with the ability to drive high-impact projects and initiatives + Experience in consulting on Wellbeing, DE&I and ESG with a focus on creating inclusive and sustainable strategies + Exceptional organizational skills, capable of managing multiple high-stakes projects in a dynamic environment + Proactive and self-critical, with a continuous learning attitude and a commitment to excellence + Advanced consultative skills, with a strategic approach to client engagement + Superior communication and presentation skills with the ability to influence and collaborate with diverse stakeholders How we support our colleagues This salary range is an estimate and the actual salary will vary based on applicant’s education, experience, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data.
