Danfoss Climate Solutions is looking for a Global Application & Technical Support Manager, a pivotal role that combines process ownership with business-oriented thinking. Based preferably in Kolding, Denmark or Ljubljana, Slovenia, you’ll take the lead in structuring global support activities and defining scalable, high-quality application support processes, while staying closely aligned with customer needs and commercial goals.
This is not just a coordination role. We’re looking for someone who brings strategic vision to technical support, with a strong sense of market relevance and customer experience.
Job Responsibilities Lead and develop a global Application Support team, fostering a culture of collaboration, standardization, and continuous improvement. Define and implement scalable support processes and tools to ensure efficiency and consistency across regions. Act with a commercial mindset, understanding how our heat exchangers are applied in HVAC systems such as industrial and commercial heating, ventilation, and air conditioning. Support business development by ensuring technical application support is aligned with market needs. Collaborate closely with Product Management to translate market and application feedback into product improvements. Understand the broader ecosystem in which our products operate (e.g. EPCs, contractors, OEMs) Design and deliver technical training for internal teams and selected partners. Personally support critical customer situations when high-level expertise and presence are required. Background & Skills Educational background in Engineering or another technically relevant field. Minimum 5 years of experience in similar roles within internationally oriented, mid-to-large manufacturing companies — ideally with components used within thermal or fluid handling systems. Proven leadership skills with hands-on experience managing and motivating diverse, high-performing teams across multiple regions. Strong track record in designing, implementing, and continuously optimizing scalable support processes that enhance efficiency and customer satisfaction. Deep technical expertise in product applications, able to bridge complex technical concepts with real-world customer challenges to deliver effective solutions. Natural curiosity and versatile problem-solving ability, coupled with a proactive and inspiring leadership style that drives innovation and team empowerment. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
