Your role and responsibilities

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Global Analyst, Trade & Logistics to drive reporting and analytics within the Motion business area. This role involves coordinating and developing reports and tools, encompassing both Motion’s initiatives and projects related to other ABB business areas. A customer-centric attitude and a strong desire to exceed both internal and external customer expectations are essential. The ideal candidate will possess excellent networking skills to effectively collaborate with local and global teams.The work model for the role is: hybrid; #LI-HybridYou will report to the Global Process Owner, Trade & Logistics.You will be mainly accountable for:•\tDesign, build, develop, and maintain data-driven Power BI reports to ensure the organization has access to accurate data on transportation volumes, costs, and performance.•\tProvide insightful analysis to key stakeholders, identifying opportunities to reduce costs, improve performance, and enhance processes.•\tIntegrate data from multiple sources, preparing required data elements and identifying gaps and inconsistencies in data quality.•\tSupport external partnerships with Logistics Service Providers and other stakeholders.•\tTrain and support end users in the use and development of Power BI reporting tools.

Qualifications for the role

\tExperience in business analysis and reporting, ideally within the Transportation and Logistics sectors.\tProficiency in Power BI reporting.\tStrong interpersonal skills for effective communication with internal and external stakeholders.\tAbility to analyze data and translate findings into business opportunities and actionable tasks.\tGood understanding of data visualization patterns.\tProficiency in SQL for data generation and extraction.
