We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join the R&D crop science team as a crop worker, in Bergschenhoek. This role will manage all the crop work for the glasshouses.

 

YOUR TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Take care of the plants, twisting the plants, leaf cutting, vibrating trusses, bind the plants & crop work for the open field. Planting and picking the plants, clean and prepare facilitiesKnow how to use heavy machines Harvest ExtractionSpraying treatments, watering the plantsCoordinate / organize work and technical instructing and supervising implementation by employees.Ability to guide and train a group of co-workers/temp workers and ensuring qualitative output by checking and steering. Reporting this back to his/her lead.Participate in disturbance shift (on call)
