The Financial Analyst examines financial data and uses their findings to help the company to make business decisions. More specifically, the Financial Analysts research macroeconomic and microeconomic conditions along with company fundamentals to make predictions about businesses, sectors, and industries.
Your tasks:
Assist the senior accountants to transition general ledger responsibilities from US or EU sites into the Shared Service center
Actively participating in assigned accounting and month end closing processes
Responsible for US GAAP accounting, reporting and analyses of data and other ad hoc requests for information.
Performing general ledger account analysis and Balance Sheet account reconciliations
Prepare SOX controls
Assist internal and external audits
Create and maintain process documentation
Support internal and external audits
Maintain a good relationship with other finance departments
Expectations:
1 year relevant experience
Bachelor's Degree in Economics required (preferably in accounting)
Clear verbal and written communication skills in English
Basic general accounting knowledge and understanding of financial processes
Able to use MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
Analytical ability
Excellent team player
Supportive attitude and good interpersonal skill set
Ability to establish and maintain effective work relationships with stakeholders
Preferred Experience / Skills:
Extensive Excel knowledge including advanced functions with Excel required (Pivot tables, Vlook ups, etc)
Working knowledge of IFRS or US GAAP and SOX regulations
Experience with structured ERP, Oracle or SAP and consolidated reporting systems.
Experience in manufacturing industry is highly desirable
