As a GIS Technical Project Manager supporting MCIA’s Geospatial Support Services (GSS), you’ll step directly into a high-trust, high-impact environment where your decisions, tools, and leadership influence how the Marine Corps sees and understands the battlefield. GSS is the technical engine of MCIA—building, sustaining, and evolving platforms that move GEOINT from data to decision, from raw inputs to real-time intelligence. Leading a team of experts deploying ESRI enterprise tools, upgrading the MCIA Geo-Warehouse, developing secure web-based tools, and training analysts in active ops environments. This role requires a sharp focus on analyzing workflows and business practices, along with the ability to develop custom tools and integrate seamlessly at any stage of the geospatial production or dissemination cycle—ensuring mission-ready GIS capabilities from concept to execution.  You’ll guide the entire lifecycle of GIS capability deliver—from data ingestion and integration to full-scale web development—leveraging tools like ArcGIS Server, Oracle databases, and Dojo frameworks in a highly secure, mission-driven environment. Requirements + Current active Top Secret / SCI clearance + You have achieved the accomplishment of a Bachelor’s Degree in Geography, GIS, or related technical field. + You have 15+ years leading GIS projects, with strong team oversight and delivery ownership to manage complex, high-stakes geospatial initiatives that directly support MCIA’s global intelligence mission. + You have gained deep fluency in the ESRI suite, including Pro, Desktop, Server, Image Server, Spatial Analyst, Production & Defense Mapping, ModelBuilder, and Data Reviewer to ensure seamless support, development, and integration. + ESRI Desktop or Pro Certification.
