Objective of the project
Our client manages an extensive collection of imagery, yet the current process for organizing, accessing, and utilizing this data presents significant challenges. The GIS Team manages most of the data. Various departments utilize the collections, but only in a limited capacity due to the absence of a centralized solution that can streamline access and enhance its utilization across these departments. This situation is expected to worsen with the increasing volume of data collected from evolving sources including drones. As a result, there is an urgent need for a centralized, efficient solution to simplify access, organization, and integration of this valuable imagery and LiDAR data.
The objective of the project is to optimize storage, enhance metadata management, and ensure seamless publishing and accessibility of imagery, drone and LiDAR data, ultimately streamlining workflows.
Tasks include architecture of the solution, application architecture, and detailed design documentation.
