Responsibilities
Support engineering staff involved in the planning and installation of subsea structures Create, manage, and maintain GIS data for use in the maintenance of undersea constructs Perform data entry and attribute population Assist with integrating external datasets into established schemas Create maps, databases and other deliverables, often on very short notice Maintain archival records and data Update and maintain metadata for all datasets and deliverables Coordinate and liaison with individuals from a wide variety of backgrounds, both technical and non-technical Conduct routine quality control checks on spatial and tabular data Maintain hardware, software, peripherals and associated system components on a closed network Report directly to the GIS manager
