Gift Processor
Description We are looking for a meticulous Gift Processor to join our team in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. This contract position involves accurately managing and recording philanthropic contributions while maintaining compliance with organizational guidelines. The ideal candidate will bring expertise in financial processes, exceptional attention to detail, and a commitment to confidentiality when handling sensitive donor information. Responsibilities: • Record and process all philanthropic contributions with precision and timeliness. • Ensure donor acknowledgment letters are generated and distributed promptly. • Maintain accurate donor records and update information in accounting systems. • Adhere to organizational policies and guidelines for gift processing and reporting. • Collaborate with internal teams to address discrepancies and ensure data accuracy. • Utilize accounting software to manage contributions and prepare financial reports. • Assist in auditing donor records to ensure compliance and accuracy. • Monitor accounts receivable and payable related to philanthropic contributions. • Support the preparation of balance sheet accounts and financial statements. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in accounting or gift processing. • Proficiency in accounting software systems such as ERP, Concur, and ADP. • Strong understanding of accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR) processes. • Ability to audit financial data and ensure compliance with organizational standards. • Familiarity with balance sheet account preparation and financial reporting. • Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality. • Effective communication skills for collaboration with internal teams. • Experience working with donor management systems and handling sensitive information.
