What you would be doing in this role:
Under the general supervision of the Manager, Gift Administration, the Donor Services Associate, Gift Administration, provides gift administration, processing and posting of all types of philanthropic gifts to Cedars-Sinai. In addition, the Donor Services Associate is responsible in maintaining quality, accuracy and implementation of current and future Development Operations Business Rules.
Qualifications
Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.A minimum of 2 years of relevant experience preferred.Experience with Raiser's Edge highly preferred.Skills Sought:
Computer, data entry and/or accounting background.Basic financial knowledge including billing information.Knowledge of stocks and bond transaction procedures.Skills in working independently, be resourceful and capable of making decisions.Ability to handle a high volume of work while maintaining accuracy and adjusting to changing workload during peak periods.Ability to be flexible and cooperative in a collaborative, fast paced, donor-centered and dynamic environment.Excellent communication skills in handling external clients, Board members, and inquiries from the public.Experience with Raiser's Edge or other fundraising database system essential.Professional experience providing customer service and problem resolution.Computer proficiency using Microsoft Office products.Why work here?
