We partner with them to anticipate and respond to evolving business needs with innovation in sensing and communications technologies, data analytics, and services. **Brief Description/Job Summary:** GCC Vadodara campus is looking to hire a Graduate Engineer Trainee (Mechanical) to support multiple new product development and other engineering initiatives in the field of plastic/mechanical product design **.** As a part of the Global Capability Center, the selected candidate will assist in executing projects that involve product development, sustain engineering, and design for assembly/manufacturing. We're looking for individuals with a strong interest or foundational knowledge in mechanical/plastic engineering who are eager to learn, collaborate, and grow. **Essential Duties/Principal Responsibilities:** + Support the mechanical design and development of products involving plastic and metallic components. + Participate in tolerance stack-up studies, DFMEA, and DFM activities + 2D/3D CAD preparation and detail engineering using Creo. + Learn and adhere to design and quality standards as per project requirements. + Collaborate with cross-functional global teams on engineering deliverables. **Must-Have Competencies:** + Solid understanding of core mechanical engineering concepts (mechanics, materials & manufacturing processes). + Ability to work in a team and communicate effectively in a professional setting + Familiarity with engineering drawings, dimensioning standards, and basic GD&T. + Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. **Good to Have Competencies:** + Hands-on experience or academic project in product design, or manufacturing + Hands-on experience of Creo software + Demonstrated leadership and technical qualities **Qualifications:** + B.Tech./BE in Mechanical engineering (2025 pass-out preferred) + Strong academic record with marks >60% throughout academics _Xylem is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
