As an internationally operating IT specialist, we are looking for you as an HR-IT Service Manager. You will shape the digital future of our HR processes and take on a key role in ensuring a stable, user-oriented IT operation in the HR sector and actively drive the development of a clearly structured service concept. This is a 2-year fixed-term position 

 

Responsibilities:

Operational security: You are responsible for the smooth operation of the HR-IT systems with a particular focus on SAP SuccessFactors Employee Central and JIRA from Atlassian. You ensure that technical disruptions are quickly and sustainably resolved and that the systems are stable, performant, and user-friendly. Service concept & process design: You develop a holistic service concept for the HR-IT landscape, define clear roles, responsibilities, and service levels, and ensure continuous development of the service processes. Coordination & communication: You act as the central interface between HR, IT, and external service providers. You coordinate service requests, ensure transparent communication, and promote regular exchange within the HR-IT area. Additionally, you work closely with central units and partners within the Bertelsmann Group to leverage synergies and consider group-wide standards. Quality assurance & reporting: You monitor service quality based on defined KPIs, derive optimization potentials, and ensure structured documentation. Project support: You accompany HR-IT projects from an operational perspective, bring requirements from day-to-day business, and support the introduction of new systems and services.

 

Requirements:

Completed studies in (business) informatics, HR-IT, or a comparable qualification. Experience in IT service or application management, ideally in the HR environment. Understanding of operational processes in the HR sector and IT-supported processes. Experience with JIRA and Confluence from Atlassian and SAP SuccessFactors, especially Employee Central, is desirable. Structured, solution-oriented working style with high self-responsibility. Strong communication skills and enjoyment of collaboration with various stakeholders. German and English language skills: Required for communication across our international locations.  Knowledge of IT service management standards (e.g., ITIL) is advantageous.

Monthly gross salary from 1500 to 2300 EUR, depending on your level of expertise.  Hybrid way of working with cozy office space in the center of Riga, when needed, and flexible working hours opportunities, based on your own preferences.
