About the job

Events & Engagements Specialists (EESs) are responsible for implementing event plans and managing operational activities related to services provided by Scientific External Experts (SEE) and Health Care Organizations (HCO) during events under the Global Meetings & Events team (GM&E) scope. The role requires risk assessment capabilities, strategic decision-making, and effective communication as a company ambassador for the Play to Win strategy.

Experience

Event Management:

Partner with brand teams, creative agencies, HCOs, and vendors to deliver end-to-end event experiencesProvide input on site selection, service contractors, and budget planningEnsure compliance with company policies, particularly transparency requirementsManage remote, hybrid, and virtual meetings through local vendorsCoordinate accommodations, transportation, and program logisticsIdentify risks early and develop mitigation plansManage budgets and conduct post-meeting financial reconciliationServe as subject-matter expert for technology solutions (Veeva Vault CRM, SpotMe, CVent)

Engagement Management:

Oversee SEE/HCO/patient engagement for event-related servicesCreate and support Service Agreements using One Sanofi toolsManage financial approvals and post-event invoice paymentsMonitor and report on SEE/HCO engagementsShare best practices and develop strong stakeholder relationshipsProvide metrics on event management success and compliance

RequirementsPost graduate degreeFluent in written and spoken English & German3-5 years professional experience in event planning/contracting, preferably in regulated marketsProficiency in MS OfficeExperience with Veeva Vault CRM Events Management platformMeeting planning and project management experience is advantageousCompetenciesStrong relationship building skills and customer-service orientationOrganizational flexibility and adaptability to changing prioritiesFinancial acumen for budget managementCollaborative approach in complex environmentsDigital literacy and innovative mindsetHigh attention to detailProactive problem-solving abilities
