Eaton’s ES AMER PCS division is currently seeking a Gerente de ventas (Data Center).
**What you’ll do:**
**Job Summary**
To lead all Eaton sales activities for Data center Segment to achieve strong growth to beat performance goals in accordance with the profit plan. This position requires coaching and training sales professionals to succeed in effectively managing and developing their customer base. It also involves leveraging internal and external sales resources, driving products, solutions, and the channel to market to achieve market share gains, support price attainment goals and support the strategic Data Center initiatives. This position will be responsible to ensure achieving strategic plans, major product launches, and key programs are properly planned, executed, and managed..

**Job Responsibilities**
• Develop strategic plans for Data Center channel partners that coincide with the overall company objectives.
• Collaborate and develop the vertical market strategy as well as the Spec position.
• Establish and drive a conversion pipeline for the DC channels.
• Provide leadership and development to a sales team consisting of sales professionals, sales reps and the distributor channel.
• Work with Support and Product Development to identify and implement new opportunities.
• Maintain a commitment to the company’s sales processes, values and business code of ethics.
• Formulate an overall strategy for the segment and play a key role in its implementation on a continuing basis.
• Create strategic plans as well as become responsible to implement product line initiatives and product launches.
• Build close relationships with key customers and distributors to enhance sales volume.
• Understand electrical products and their competitive position within the market.
• Identify, analyze, select, and continuously improve the various channels to market.
• Train, develop, and continuously improve organizational capabilities of sales personnel.
• Plan and manage the sales to assure that adequate coverage is applied to accounts.
• Maintain relationships with industry and DC associations.
• Lead the Sales team utilizing the Eaton Leadership Model to effectively communicate requirements and expectations
• Meet any other activity assigned by your supervisor or special requirements of the company.
• Active participation in continues improvements programs and committees.
• Know and comply the Policies: Global Ethics, Values and Philosophy, Management Environmental Safety and Security and Health (MESH)
**Qualifications:**
**Education level required**
• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic, or Industrial Engineering from an accredited institution required.
• Master Degree in Business Administration or related field from an accredited institution preferred.
**Years and area of experience required**
• Minimum of 7 years Sales or Marketing experience in a large company (electrical industry) required.
• Minimum of 5 years Management Sales Team experience in a commercial environment.
**Technical knowledge**
• Proficiency in computer skills Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Power Point, TEAMS, Shared Point).
• Product and market knowledge and establish customer relationships within the market.
• Data Centers industry expertise and product knowledge.
• Experience with Channel Management.
• Demonstrated success in sales growth.
• Must have advance verbal and written communication skills in English-Spanish required.
