Position Purpose This AutoZoner verifies products to Mexican NOM compliance standards and is responsible for creating solutions to meet or exceed those standards. Additional responsibilities include maintaining a database of item level labeling, communicating with replenishment and merchandising AutoZoners to remedy future vendor compliance to NOM standards as well as expedite merchandise flow. Primary Accountabilities + Assure the correct execution and coordination of cross border operation, in collaboration with service provider such as Customs Brokers, Freight Line, 3PL, & Ocean Carriers, by coordinating the import / export of merchandise thru customs and providing all documentation, information and any other need to clear customs in full compliance with the applicables laws and according the service KPI established. + Assure Compliance execution at Brokers, for NOMS, Certificates, and any other customs regulation , for all imported/exported goods, management process to comply with labeling at Brokers or DCs trought usage of DICTAMEN, and supervise labels printing and execution at DC level; develop and providing feedback to vendors and Category Manager for potential desviations. + Manage the process of receiving and reviewing customs brokers to ensure the correct shipment of imports without discrepancies upon receipt at distribution centers (DCs). When applicable, manage and resolve discrepancies between what was reported as imported and what was actually received at the DCs + Management, promote and execution of foreign trade programs such as PREVIO in ORIGEN, USMCA, DRAWBACK, IMMEX, and any other mechanism that optimizes the company's import and export operations, as well as those of our suppliers + Maintain complete and timely International Trade files to ensure the company's compliance with fiscal and audit-related record-keeping requirements + Oversee the performance management of customs brokers and foreign trade operations by establishing, tracking, and analyzing key performance indicators (KPIs) to ensure compliance, efficiency, and continuous improvement across all import and export activities Education & Experience Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent. Area of Study: International Trade, Administration or related Years of Experience: More than seven years. Type of Experience: Import- Export operations in retail company Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Importing and Exporting through Mexican and US customs. Manage Customs Brokers and Carriers Other/Preferred: Excellent interpersonla skills, the ability to work with and contribute to a team
