Summary
Design and execute the AutoZone Mexico Training Strategy for CAT, DC, and Field, aligned to the Operating Plan and Training Needs. To do so, this position is responsible for identifying the training needs across all the business units; build, test, and implement the programs to meet them, through the 4 content pillars: autoparts, processes, leadership, and culture. The Training Manager also works together with the Organizational Development Manager and the HR Managers to execute and follow-up on the programs launched, and is a liason between AutoZone MX, AutoZone US, and BTSSC to ensure all the programs are aligned to our Culture.
Position Responsibilities:
+ Design and implement the training strategy for CAT, DC, and Field considering the specific business needs in the 4 pillars: autoparts, processes, culture, and leadership.
+ Coordinate the institutional technical, autoparts, commercial, and leadership programs, including the on-the-job, onboarding, and upskilling trainings required. This includes activities strating with the needs anaylsis until the program execution and feedback for continuous improvement.
+ Collaborate with the Regional, DC, and CAT HR Managers for the training programs successful implementation and follow-up in their fulfillment.
+ Coordinate the ABC and Learning Garage platforms to create new content, keep the exiting content updated and available for all AutoZoners according to their position training needs and follows up its compliance.
+ Be a liason with the US Training Team to evaluate, adapt, translate and implement existing US training programs in Mexico. Collaborate with the OD Manager to design and launch training programs that contribute to train and develop AutoZoners for their current position and potential growth in the organization.
+ Define and follow up on the training KPIs across the 3 business units: CAT, DC, Field. Work closely with the Finance Controllers of each area to ensure the budget availability to deliver the required programs.
+ Collaborate with the Operations and Commercial Teams, by understaning the Business Strategy for these areas, the training needs required for the accelerated expansion goals, and design programs accordingly.
+ Ensure the compliance of the Legal Training Regulations (STPS) so AutoZone meets their requests in a timely manner.
Position Requirements:
+ Level of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.
+ Area of Study: Business, Economics, Marketing, Psychology, Sociology
+ Years of Experience: More than seven years
+ Type of Experience: Retail, education or training background
+ Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Bi-lingual (English/Spanish) oral, written and reading proficiency. Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, leadership, and decision making skills.
+ Other/Preferred: Management and multi-unit manager experience
