Geotechnical North American Discipline Leader
Stantec
Many of the world’s top engineers and scientists come together in our Water business because they view a community’s interaction with water a bit differently—as a single holistic system, rather than unconnected networks divided by jurisdictional boundaries. Working throughout the hydrologic cycle, we are delivering sustainable solutions to make sure water is where it should be and available when needed. Our experts guide our work with scientific rigor, an innovative spirit, and a vision for growth. Every day, we help communities improve, reuse, and protect this precious resource for future generations. Grow with us, H2O+U.
North American Discipline Leaders (NADLs) hold a unique position in our water group, their role is to guide our engineering disciplines in the advancement of skills, innovation, and quality as it relates to the delivery of our work. They facilitate our communities of global and national level engineering discipline leads ensuring workflows leverage the right level of expertise and always mitigate risk. The management and governance of engineering technical data and standards is at the core of the role, always fostering a culture of quality.
+ The NADLs report to either the US or Canadian Delivery Center Leaders or the US Delivery Center BCOLs.
The geotechnical discipline supports the Water Sector (practice and delivery) as well as other business lines by providing technical leadership and specialized project delivery services related to the discipline.
Our geotechnical engineering discipline is focused on solving design, construction, and rehabilitation issues impacting the communities where we work and live. By pairing cutting-edge site investigation technology with tried-and-true experience, we bring unparalleled expertise to the entire geotechnical spectrum—from planning, investigation, and design to execution and quality control.
Our North American Geotechnical Discipline Leaders collaborate across technical disciplines to link our network of practitioners across Water.
