Our client, a geotechnical engineering, environmental consulting, and testing firm, is looking for a Geotechnical Branch Manager to help develop and implement a comprehensive department / business unit strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives. This branch location has around 80 people and they will have about direct 7-10 reports. Theyre looking for someone with a great experience leading engineers and branch staff along with a background in civil engineering. The Dallas branch is experiencing significant growth and will continue to grow in the near future, this individual should be capable of setting strategic direction and have the ability to establish trainings to grow their people. They're accountable for the overall performance of the offices operational, client and technical goals, for personnel that report in through the Engineering and Testing and Drilling divisions. This job is also responsible for employees at all levels and, in particular other Unit managers/leaders and marketing staff, to set direction for client-related pursuits and marketing goals for the region. This role continually monitors financial performance of the office and business unit by analyzing unit activities, costs, efficiency of operations, etc. They'll provides feedback to management on a regular basis. This position requires offsite travel (locally and throughout United States), typically less than 50% annually. They're to pay around 80k - 150k, open to further discussion.

Skills and Requirements
Education Bachelors degree in Civil Engineering required.
Proven ability successfully leading a geotechnical organization
Excellent organizational skills.
Proven ability to lead small or large groups effectively through a service/servant leadership style.
High customer service orientation.
Ability to work in a dynamic work environment with changing priorities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Licenses/Certificates Drivers license null
