**Job summary** We are seeking a highly skilled GeoSpatial Lead Java with 10 to 12 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in Springboot Microservices Microservices Spring Boot Spring MicroService Java Core Java and Java Fullstack. This is a hybrid work model with day shifts and no travel required. The candidate will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining geospatial applications that drive our companys success and impact society positively. **Responsibilities** + Lead the design and development of geospatial applications using Java and Springboot Microservices + Oversee the implementation of microservices architecture to ensure scalability and efficiency + Provide technical expertise in Spring Boot and Spring MicroService to optimize application performance + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for geospatial solutions + Develop and maintain high-quality code following best practices and coding standards + Ensure seamless integration of geospatial applications with existing systems and platforms + Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues related to geospatial applications + Mentor and guide junior developers to enhance their technical skills and knowledge + Conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and adherence to project requirements + Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in geospatial applications and Java development + Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies + Participate in project planning and provide accurate estimates for development tasks + Communicate effectively with stakeholders to provide project updates and gather feedback **Qualifications** + Must have extensive experience in Springboot Microservices Microservices Spring Boot Spring MicroService Java Core Java and Java Fullstack + Should have a strong understanding of microservices architecture and its implementation + Must possess excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues + Should have experience in mentoring and guiding junior developers + Must be proficient in developing and maintaining high-quality code + Should have strong communication skills to interact with stakeholders and team members + Must be able to work effectively in a hybrid work model + Should have a passion for staying updated with the latest technologies and trends in geospatial applications and Java development. **Certifications Required** Certified Java Developer Spring Professional Certification Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer.
