**Job summary** We are seeking a GeoSpatial Lead Java with 5 to 8 years of experience to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in Springboot Microservices Microservices and Java - Sprint Boot / .Net. This role involves working in a hybrid model with day shifts and no travel requirements. Experience in Product Lifecycle Management is a plus. **Responsibilities** + Lead the design and development of geospatial applications using Springboot Microservices and Java technologies. + Oversee the implementation of microservices architecture to ensure scalability and efficiency. + Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior developers on the team. + Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and analyze requirements for geospatial solutions. + Ensure the integration of geospatial data with existing systems and applications. + Develop and maintain high-quality code following best practices and coding standards. + Conduct code reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve code quality. + Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues related to geospatial applications. + Participate in the full software development lifecycle including planning development testing and deployment. + Stay updated with the latest trends and technologies in geospatial and microservices domains. + Contribute to the continuous improvement of development processes and methodologies. + Communicate effectively with stakeholders to understand their needs and provide timely updates on project progress. + Ensure the security and performance of geospatial applications. **Qualifications** + Must have strong experience in Springboot Microservices and Java technologies. + Must have experience in developing and implementing microservices architecture. + Must have a solid understanding of software development best practices and coding standards. + Nice to have experience in Product Lifecycle Management. + Nice to have experience with .Net technologies. + Must have excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. **Certifications Required** Certified Java Developer Spring Professional Certification Cognizant is an equal opportunity employer that embraces diversity, champions equity and values inclusion.
