Geologist
**Position Overview** We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Geologist to join our consulting team. The ideal candidate brings 7–10 years of hands-on experience in reservoir characterization, sequence stratigraphy, basin analysis, and reservoir modeling, with a strong command of industry-standard tools and workflows. Proficiency in integrating multidisciplinary data to build and refine geological models is essential, along with a strategic mindset to support both reservoir and exploration studies. This role demands technical excellence, a collaborative spirit, and sound decision-making across multi-disciplinary teams. **Key Responsibilities** + Conduct geological interpretations to support field development and exploration strategies + Perform detailed reservoir characterization integrating well, core, and seismic data + Lead basin analysis studies to evaluate petroleum systems + Apply sedimentological and sequence stratigraphic concepts in subsurface mapping + Contribute to integrated reservoir modeling projects alongside petrophysicists, reservoir engineers and geophysicists + Evaluate subsurface risks and generate volumetric estimates for prospects and fields + Utilize software such as Petrel, Techlog, Petromod for data integration and interpretation + Support fracture modeling initiatives (prior experience is a plus). **Desired Skills** + Proficient in subsurface software platforms (Petrel, Techlog, Petromod) + Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills + Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities + Proven collaborator and team player in multi-disciplinary environments **Qualification & Experience** + Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Geology (Master’s preferred) + 7–10 years of relevant industry experience Company policy is to provide every individual a fair and equal opportunity to seek employment and advancement at the Company without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, age, national origin, citizenship, genetic information, veteran or military status, disability, creed, ancestry, pregnancy (including pregnancy, childbirth and related medical conditions), marital status or any factors protected by federal, state, or local laws.
