Role description:
This is a unique opportunity for an architect with delivery experience to join a digitally focused design team working at the intersection of architecture and technology. The role focuses on integrating generative design principles into live project workflows, with a particular emphasis on healthcare architecture.
Designed for someone who understands the real-world demands of delivering buildings—including how drawings, models, and information flow across teams—this position will allow you to explore and enhance your growing interest in computational design. Working within the Digital Design Group, you will help bridge parametric thinking with Revit-based production, collaborating closely with architects, BIM specialists, and computational designers to shape how generative logic is developed, packaged, and practically adopted across project teams.
This role directly supports Arcadis' broader mission of embedding digital intelligence into design workflows, reducing manual processes, enhancing adaptability, and fostering smarter, more sustainable project outcomes. You will actively engage in hands-on tasks blending your foundational production knowledge with emerging digital workflows, creating space for continuous learning, experimentation, and professional growth.
Role accountabilities:
Workflow Integration
Facilitate the practical integration of generative design tools such as Rhino.Inside.Revit and Dynamo into everyday architectural workflows.
Tool Packaging & Enablement
Develop intuitive, user-friendly tools and automation scripts designed to enhance productivity and ease of adoption.
Bridging Computational and Production Environments
Ensure computational innovations align closely with practical architectural needs and project delivery realities.
Cross-Discipline Collaboration
Actively mediate between computational designers, BIM specialists, and architects to promote clear, effective understanding and use of computational tools.
Applied Learning and Development
Enhance your computational skills rapidly through direct project experience and structured mentorship.
Problem-Solving and Clarity
Address complex project challenges systematically, quickly mastering new technologies and workflows to improve outcomes.
Swiftly adapt to emerging tools and integrate them effectively into architectural workflows
Qualifications & Experience:
Qualified architect with 5+ years of experience 5+ years proven experience in architectural project delivery Strong proficiency in Revit and familiarity with multi-disciplinary coordination Early-stage but active interest in computational and generative design tools (Grasshopper, Rhino.Inside.Revit, Dynamo) Effective communicator, skilled in translating complex ideas into clear, actionable insights Quick learner, confident problem-solver in fast-paced environments Ambition to become a facilitator connecting digital innovation with practical architectureContinue your career journey as an Arcadian.

Arcadis offers benefits for full time and part time positions. These benefits include medical, dental, and vision, EAP, 401K, STD, LTD, AD&D, life insurance, paid parental leave, reward & recognition program and optional benefits including wellbeing benefits, adoption assistance and tuition reimbursement. We offer nine paid holidays and 15 days PTO that accrue per year. The salary range for this position is $68,000 - $112,000. Actual salaries will vary and are based on several factors, such as experience, education, budget, internal equity, project and location.
