Note: Benefits may vary based on position type and/or level **Job Summary** Baylor Scott & White Health is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible General Surgeon for Acute Care in Plano, Texas. This is an employed career opportunity with a generous benefits package that offers work-life balance, a competitive salary, productivity bonus, moving allowance, and no state income tax. **Essential Functions of the Role** + Examine, collect, record, and maintain patient information, such as medical history, reports, and examination results. + Prescribe or administer treatment, therapy, medication, vaccination, and other medical care to treat or prevent illness, disease, or injury. + Order, perform, and interpret tests and examine records, reports, and examination information to diagnose patients' condition. + Work with a clinical team of technicians, advanced practice professionals, and physicians.
