We are currently seeking a dedicated and dynamic General Services Manager to join our team and play a key role in driving excellence and innovation in Facilities Management.
As a General Services Manager you'll:
Manage the on-site contract and all services to the agreed standards, ensuring that deadlines and targets are achievedMaximise the profitability of the contract and manage costs effectivelyAct as the operational interface between the client(s) and the account Manager/director (or equivalent)Manage the onsite client and Sodexo services and teams to deliver the agreed SLA and standards, acting as Sodexo primary representative on siteProvide direction and expertise to the operating area by promoting Sodexo strategies and best business practices in order to uphold the company mission and valuesEnsure that statutory requirements and company policies and procedures are followed and deadlines are metBuild long-term relationships with client(s) that add value and are based on mutual trustLead, develop, manage and motivate a high performing team to the agreed standards ensuring that the client receives services of the highest qualitySupport the account manager/director (or equivalent) in the development of business strategy in line with current and emerging client needsContribute to and maintain sector and account development plans, as well as supporting the change management process and associated Service Levels Agreements (SLAs) ensuring risks are mitigatedDrive innovation and continuous improvement of people, systems, processes and servicesSupport the business development and regional management teams to identifying opportunities with other clients to maximise profit and growthWhat we're looking for:
Essential
Experienced in using Microsoft OfficeUnderstanding of Integrated Facilities ManagementDS or Guarding SIA licensesAble to response to and control emergenciesFirst Aid at Work or Emergency First Aid at WorkPrevious experience of operational management in a similar environmentTo be able to develop and build good client & customer relationships.People management experienceKnowledge and understanding of GDPRAbility to interpret and utilise financial and commercial informationExcellent communication skillsAll employees are expected to adhere to Sodexo health and safety regulations and Equal opportunity regu-lationsAchieve set, standards and operate to performance criteria; for example health and safety, hygieneManage multiple workloads and shifting prioritiesPositive approach to learning in role and identifying own training needs as appropriateSelf motivated and able to work on own initiative within a team environment Experience of delivering trainingDesirable
