Job Title: Plant Operations Assistant

Job Description

The Plant Operations Assistant is responsible for operating manufacturing and packaging equipment to ensure product quality and meet production schedules. This role involves equipment setup and maintenance, as well as ensuring a clean and safe work area.

ResponsibilitiesOperate conveyor, shrink-wrap, and bagging equipment.Hang and seal bags of product.Fill and seal shaker bottles of product.Bag product with the correct blend to the required weight level.Place product on pallets according to specifications.Assist with maintaining equipment, including cleaning production equipment and lines.Maintain a clean and safe work area.Perform other related duties as assigned.Essential SkillsBasic math skills.Ability to operate various types of machinery and equipment.Mechanical and technical skills with exceptional problem-solving abilities.Effective communication with co-workers and supervisors.Capability to work independently and in a team environment.Additional Skills & QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.preferred, but open to other industries such as restaurant.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

Work in a manufacturing environment with exposure to heat, cold, humid conditions, and dust. The role requires standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, squatting, stacking, lifting, and walking for long periods, with the ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds. This is an industrial setting involving machine operation.

This is a Permanent position based out of El Dorado, Kansas.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $31200.00 - $33280.00/yr.
