**Job Title: Plant Operations Assistant** **Job Description** The Plant Operations Assistant is a crucial role within the manufacturing environment, responsible for operating manufacturing and packaging equipment. Under the guidance of the Production Supervisor, this position ensures the quality of products and adherence to production schedules. **Responsibilities** + Operate conveyor, shrink-wrap, and bagging equipment. + Hang and seal bags of product. + Fill and seal shaker bottles of product. + Bag product with the correct blend to the required weight level. + Place product on pallets according to specifications. + Assist with maintaining equipment, including cleaning production equipment and lines. + Maintain a clean and safe work area. + Perform other related duties as assigned. **Essential Skills** + Basic math skills. + Ability to operate various types of machinery and equipment. + Mechanical and technical skills with exceptional problem-solving abilities. + Effective communication skills with co-workers and supervisors. + Ability to work independently and in a team environment. **Work Environment** The position is based in a manufacturing environment where exposure to heat, cold, humid conditions, and dust is common. The role requires physical activities such as standing, sitting, bending, kneeling, squatting, and lifting up to 50 pounds. Employees are expected to be on their feet during the entire shift.
