CWC Textron is seeking energetic, dedicated individuals to join the Muskegon team in the capacity of General Production. The Production Associate is a key position and responsible for the efficient and safe daily production of cast camshafts to supply our customers in a manner that meets or exceeds their expectations.

Responsibilities:

Practices and promotes safe working habits in compliance with all MIOSHA, Kautex, and CWC Textron safety standardsEffectively and safely operates flame hardeners, ladles, grinders, straighteners, trim presses, and other manufacturing machinery and equipmentPerforms hand operations including several types of inspectionUses various equipment to moves materials, parts and / or products within the facilityPackages finished products for shippingMaintains work areas in clean and orderly mannerAbility to work flexible hours, overtime and weekends as directed by the production schedule, which may be unpredictable and on short notice of required overtimeMust have good attention to detail; even when doing repetitive workTeam oriented, multitask orientedIs technically orientedComply with all ISO 14001 standardsComply with all IATF 16949 standards

Qualifications

Basic Computer knowledgeHigh School Diploma or GEDCustomer Service orientationAbility to work well within a teamPrevious manufacturing experience requiredMust be able to lift a minimum of 25 lbsPhysically able to walk, bend, twist and stand repeatedly
