Job Description Insight Global is assisting a commercial repair and maintenance company identify an experienced General Manager to lead operations of a team with annual revenues of $7M. The ideal candidate will bring deep technical construction expertise and proven leadership in managing large client accounts (facility managers), in-house project managers, in-house labor crews/technicians, and regional subcontractors. Key Responsibilities: • Client & Sales Management: • Serve as the primary point of contact for key accounts, including the company’s largest client with over 400 serviced locations. • Lead client engagement and new sales efforts, ensuring high satisfaction and repeat business. • Scope and estimate projects ranging from $2K to $100K, with an average of $5K–$6K. • Project Oversight: • Oversee dispatching and coordination of 4+ Project Managers across Florida, Georgia and Texas. • Ensure timely and quality execution of services. Examples of projects at 400+ client sites include: plumbing, electrical, HVAC, fire-related restoration, restaurant handyman projects, commercial equipment removal, pest control access, refinishing. • Operational Leadership: • Manage, dispatch and optimize in-house project managers, service team and outside labor crews • Collaborate with leadership to manage P&L, win new client business, and support strategic growth. Skills and Requirements • Minimum 5 years in construction and/or commercial facility services • Experienced in pricing, quoting and managing a P&L • Comfortable traveling throughout Florida on client meetings and large project supervision • Proven track record managing a large services team, managing multi-site client operations, and interacting with client-side Facility Management and operations professionals • Strong technical background in light construction and mechanical (HVAC, electrical, plumbing) with prior hands-on project execution experience • General Contractor License • Experience in fire restoration, commercial plumbing/electrical, and restaurant facilities maintenance. null We are a company committed to creating diverse and inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
