Job Details:
This position involves directing and training supervisors across various domains, including but not limited to: production paperwork, yield management, attendance tracking, disciplinary procedures, motivation, turnover mitigation, absenteeism, safety protocols, problem-solving, and more.
This role is responsible for various performance areas such as safety, quality, worker satisfaction, compensation, turnover, bid movement, Team Member morale, and other duties as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Experience: 1+ years of experience in a supervisory role. Two years of employment at Tyson or equivalent experience preferred. Familiarity with processing floor operations preferred. HACCP certification and a basic understanding of HACCP principles and the ability to perform CCP monitoring verification are preferred. Knowledge of poultry processing is preferred.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to access all areas of the production floor to conduct audits and inspections using fixed ladders, stairs steps, etc.
Able to tolerate environmental conditions in the area of responsibility. The temperature in most of the areas range from 28°-45° Fahrenheit.
Computer Skills: Basic computer skills.
Communication Skills: Good written and verbal communication skills. Able to communicate with all levels of management.
Special Skills: Team-leader, problem-solving, and motivation to take on special projects.
Supervisory: Responsible for all production operations at the facility. This includes managing all production supervisors’ departments, production schedules, product rotation, CCP verification schedules, and overseeing the safety committee. This role includes the responsibility to review team members in these roles and develop and improve in any deficient areas.
Travel: Some travel is required as needed.
