We’re looking for a seasoned, hands-on General Manager to take the helm at Anantara Kihavah - one of the Maldives’ most iconic ultra-luxury resorts. Ideally, you are someone who thrives on delivering unforgettable guest experiences, leading passionate teams, and driving high-end operations with a sense of purpose.
You’ll be based on-site in the Maldives, surrounded by turquoise waters, world-class villas, and a team that’s as committed as you are. We're after someone who balances refined hospitality with real-world grit. Someone strategic yet grounded, polished yet personal.
As our new General Manager at Kihavah, you’ll be responsible for balancing the needs of our guests, our people, and the business. You’ll drive results across revenue, operations, and strategy while setting the tone for a culture of excellence, respect, and pride in what we deliver.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the creation and execution of the hotel’s strategy.
Own the annual budget process and deliver on revenue and GOP targets.
Oversee daily operations alongside Resident Manager and department heads.
Build and maintain a strong, trust-based relationships across all levels.
Position the hotel effectively in the market through sales and brand storytelling.
Ensure strong forecasting and revenue management practices.
Continuously elevate the skills, service mindset, and performance of the team.
QualificationsBachelor's Degree in any related field.Minimum of 5 years experience as a General Manager in the hospitality industry.Strong communication skills, above average fluency in the English language is essential.Excellent management skills and Strong analytical skills are a must. Prior experience with multiple stakeholder relationship management is essential.High ability to work well under pressure and effectively handle multiple, concurrent demands and appropriately prioritize responsibilities.
