The Hotel General Manager position at PMG Hospitality involves directing all hotel operations, ensuring guest satisfaction, and maintaining financial viability. This role requires strong leadership, sales & marketing expertise, and a focus on both individual and team performance. Key responsibilities include developing and implementing business plans, monitoring hotel performance, and ensuring the hotel meets all financial obligations. Key Responsibilities: Operational Management: Overseeing all aspects of hotel operations, including guest services, housekeeping, food and beverage, and maintenance. Financial Management: Managing the hotel's budget, revenue generation, and ensuring profitability. Sales & Marketing: Developing and executing sales strategies, working with the Area Director of Sales & Marketing to increase revenue and occupancy. Guest Relations: Ensuring exceptional guest service and addressing any guest concerns. Team Leadership: Hiring, training, and motivating hotel staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment. Strategic Planning: Developing and implementing business and financial plans for the hotel, monitoring performance, and making adjustments as needed. Education: Bachelor's degree in hospitality management, business administration, or a related field (preferred). Experience: Marriott Experience Required. Minimum of five years of experience in a related management position, ideally within the hotel industry. Skills: Strong leadership, communication, sales, and financial management skills.
