Job Description Responsibilities: A client of Insight Global is expanding into a new market area and seeking a seasoned General Manager with expertise in HVAC/MEP to lead the charge. This role is ideal for a results-driven professional with deep experience in sales and operations, ready to establish and grow a startup business unit, focused on mechanical contracting and maintenance services across high-profile facilities. Day-to-day:  Develop and execute a go-to-market strategy for new territory expansion. Identify and qualify business opportunities in St. Louis area, across office buildings, hospitals, universities, telecom, schools, warehouses, manufacturing, and industrial facilities.  Build and lead a sales and service team aligned with EMCORS standards of excellence. Making sales contacts, researching customer needs and follow-up on leads to revenue growth.  Oversee operational workflows, including scheduling, dispatch, and quality control.  Ensure compliance with safety, regulatory, and technical standards.  Team Leadership: Builds, lead and manage project teams effectively.  Documentation: respond to RFQs (request of quotations) in a timely manner.  Recruiting and retaining technicians We are a company committed to creating inclusive environments where people can bring their full, authentic selves to work every day.
