What You’ll Do:
As the General Manager, you’ll have full accountability for warehouse operations — driving performance, ensuring compliance, and fostering a customer-first culture. Your key responsibilities will include:
Leading, coaching, and developing a high-impact team to deliver on productivity and service goals
Driving results across key performance indicators (KPIs), including Labor to Revenue, truck turn times, and customer satisfaction
Identifying and implementing process improvements that enhance efficiency and reduce costs
Partnering with Sales to grow the business: identifying opportunities, negotiating rates, and securing new accounts
Building and maintaining strong client relationships focused on exceptional service
Managing budgets, capital expenditures, space utilization, and warehouse assets
Ensuring food safety, employee health, and regulatory compliance across all operations
What You Bring:Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
4+ years of leadership experience in warehouse, supply chain, or logistics operations
Demonstrated success in managing KPIs, driving operational improvements, and leading teams
Experience with continuous improvement methodologies like LEAN or Six Sigma
Strong people management skills with the ability to recruit, train, and retain talent
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems (WMS)
Exceptional communication skills — both verbal and written — with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
Strategic thinking paired with hands-on problem-solving ability
Willingness to travel up to 25% and work in a temperature-controlled environment (cold and dry storage)
Work Environment & Physical Requirements:Comfortable working in environments ranging from -20°F to 100°F (with provided protective gear)
Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs (18 kg)
Exposure to varying noise levels typical in warehouse settings
