Job Summary: The General Manager provides leadership and guidance to all dealership employees in order to maximize net profit, maintain high levels of customer satisfaction, customer retention and employee satisfaction. Serves as the primary management representative for the location and responsible for representing the company brand and maximizing dealership performance.
Key Responsibilities:Dealership Operations
Manage daily operations including staffing, scheduling, inventory management, and employee development. Oversee floor planning and ensure operational efficiency across all departments.Sales & Performance Monitoring
Track sales performance, employee productivity, and business forecasts. Monitor KPIs to ensure financial and operational targets are consistently met.Customer Relations
Handle escalated customer concerns professionally and ensure high satisfaction and retention. Foster a culture of customer service excellence across the dealership.Financial & Budget Management
Oversee monthly budgets, operating costs, and profitability. Review financial reports and drive strategies to improve margins and reduce expenses.Leadership & Team Development
Provide training, support, and coaching to department managers. Drive a high-performance culture through motivation, recognition, and accountability.Corporate Collaboration
Serve as the liaison between the dealership and corporate leadership. Report on operational performance and escalate concerns or recommendations.Marketing & Community Engagement
Participate in local marketing strategy, advertising campaigns, and community outreach initiatives. Analyze marketing effectiveness and adjust tactics for optimal results.Policy & Compliance
Ensure the dealership operates in full compliance with internal policies, brand standards, and legal regulations. Promote company values, mission, and vision in all dealership functions.Other Duties
