Responsible for effective operations within the OpCo. Develops and implements operating policies and procedures across functions such as: sales, customer service, quality control standards, purchasing, inventory control, materials management, distribution and facilities maintenance and planning. Conducts and reviews feasibility of new or revised systems and procedures. Responsible for all supply chain management functions within the OpCo. Requires thorough involvement with sales, operations, procurement/marketing, customer service, and finance. Accountable for achieving established profit, Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization (EBITDA), sales growth, and other financial measures.
Position Responsibilities:Planning and budgeting to achieve business objectives, and coordinate functions between departments to establish responsibilities and procedures for attaining objectives. Establish current and long range objectives, plans, and policies. Direct the preparation of the annual Company budget.Review reporting and financial statements to determine progress and status in attaining objectives and revise objectives and plans in accordance with current conditions. Review operating results of the OpCo, compare them to established objectives, and take steps to ensure that appropriate measures are taken to correct unsatisfactory results. Review analysis of activities, costs, operations, and forecast data to determine OpCo progress toward stated goals and objectivesEstablishes operating policies consistent with PFG's broad policies and objectives and ensures their execution. Provide guidance, advice, direction, and authorization to carry out major plans and procedures, consistent with established PFG policies.Ensure that the responsibilities, authorities, and accountability of all direct subordinates are defined and understood. Maintain leadership development practices that promote and provide for capable management succession.Promote and practice effective communication and adequate flow of information. Represents the organization with customers, associates, vendors, the financial community, and the public.Direct overall sales within the OpCo to ensure attainment of departmental goals and objectives, evaluating the performance of staff members for compliance with established policies and objectives of the OpCo and their contributions in attaining those objectives.Monitors and inspects processes to over see HACCP and SQF programs to ensure food safety is maintained to established levels.Performs other related duties as assigned.
