Responsibilities: 

Performs mechanical, general maintenance, and repair tasks in accordance with UPMC Washington standards, policies, and procedures.  Demonstrates core maintenance competencies and completes technical tasks as delegated by UPMC Washington guidelines.  Communicates effectively with team members and departments to support coordinated, quality care and services.  Adheres to safety, confidentiality, and HIPAA regulations, ensuring the protection of patients, staff, and information.  Documents work accurately using established systems and protocols, maintaining compliance with electronic record policies.  Participates in training, meetings, and continuous improvement efforts to maintain and enhance job performance.  Collaborates with patients, families, and staff to deliver respectful, patient-centered service and care.  Supports UPMC Washington performance and quality improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and participating in process enhancements.  Acts as a positive team member, fostering respectful, professional relationships across all levels of the organization.  Assists with onboarding and mentoring of new staff and uses courteous, unbiased communication in all interactions. 

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 7:30AM. – 4PM. There will be some local travel between sites. Must be able to work other shifts/days, if needed at times.
