General Maintenance Mechanic

Location: South Boston, Virginia

Position Status: Full-time, Day Shift

Position Summary: 

The General Maintenance Mechanic performs general maintenance as directed and as necessary on all aspects of building structure and systems to include floors, walls, ceilings, lighting HVAC, transportation systems, mechanical electrical, plumbing and other items.

Refrigerant Recovery certification Type I and Type II preferred or Universal preferred. (HVAC requirements).

Standard Working Hours: 7:00AM to 3:30PM (ET). On-call coverage required

Minimum Requirements:

Virginia Drivers License active and in good standingHigh School Diploma1 Year Facility Maintenance Experience Required

Refrigerant Recovery certification Type I and Type II preferred or Universal preferred. (HVAC requirements)

We provide market-competitive compensation packages, inclusive of base pay, incentives, and benefits. The base pay rate for Full Time employment is:$19.47 - $32.45. Additional compensation may be available for this role such as shift differentials, standby/on-call, overtime, premiums, extra shift incentives, or bonus opportunities.
