NaphCare is hiring an experienced General Ledger Accountant just like you to join our team at the Corporate Headquarters located in Birmingham, AL. The General Ledger Accountant's main responsibilities include maintaining integrity of general ledger accounts as presented on financial statements and preforming monthly audits of reconciliations. A successful candidate must be highly organized and analytical.

Responsibilities Gather and audit monthly reconciliation of balance sheet accounts as prepared by others.Prepare reconciliations as needed.Answer accounting and financial questions by researching and interpreting data. Examine accounting records, including financial statements and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness and conformance to standards defined within the department.Develop, implement, and maintain proper keeping of financial records and making use of current technologies.Analyze information and options by developing spreadsheet reports and verifying information.Protect the organization's value by keeping information confidential. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting required.1-3 years of accounting experience required.Strong Microsoft Excel skills required.Must have excellent written and verbal skills, have the ability to problem solve, and work and perform independently with minimal supervision.Must possess strong numeracy and analytical skills.
