Job Description:

Parsons is looking for an amazingly talented Skilled Labourer to join our team! In this role you will get to support site operations and Care & Maintenance activities at Cantung Mine in NWT.

What You'll Be Doing:

Travel to Cantung Mine for rotations of approximately 3 weeks on, 3 weeks offPerforms non-routine and occasionally heavy labor tasks related to on-site operations that could include: water, wastewater and waste processing, general and skilled labour tasks, support equipment maintenance and other activities as directed by the Mine Manager.Operates trucks, pumps, vacuum equipment,generators, and other machinery/equipment. Establishes and maintains appropriate logs of activities.May give some leadership and guidance to lower level Technicians or labourers onsite.Prepares required field reports of various activities and findings. May initiate reports and/or establish and maintain logs and records.Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.

Previous experience in construction or mine site activitiesUnderstanding of fundamentals of Health & SafetyWillingness to travel to and work at a remote Mine site on a rotational basisValid drivers license
