Job Description

We are seeking dedicated and hardworking individuals to join our team as General Laborers. This seasonal role involves hands-on physical labor and operation of machinery while adhering to site health and safety regulations. The position requires flexibility in tasks and may include assignment to specific jobs after a training period.

ResponsibilitiesAssist with hands-on physical labor and operate machinery.Follow all site health and safety regulations.Perform heavy lifting and work in confined spaces, at tall heights, and in various weather conditions.Complete a wide variety of tasks as directed.May be assigned to a specific job after the training period.Cover different positions if necessary.Shovel materials such as sand, pulp, and beets, and transport using a wheelbarrow.Perform cleaning activities using hot water or pressure washers.Climb stairs and ladders, and work on catwalks around equipment.Bend, stoop, and twist to reach areas for cleaning or shoveling.Walk for extended periods.Operate hand or power tools.Essential SkillsExperience in general labor and production.Ability to operate machinery and perform packaging, loading, and construction tasks.Ability to perform farm work, milking, and production work.Additional Skills & QualificationsAbility to follow instructions and complete tasks independently or with a team.Repetitive lifting or carrying items up to 50 lbs.Exposure to various chemicals and knowledge of proper personal protective equipment.Attention to detail and ability to complete good manufacturing practice paperwork.Why Work Here?

Work Environment

This position is seasonal, typically running from August through May, with shifts including 1st (7am-3pm), 2nd (3pm-11pm), and 3rd (11pm-7am), as well as a swing schedule. Employees work three 40-hour weeks and one 48-hour week per month, with mandatory overtime as required. Exposure to high and low temperatures throughout the factory and various weather conditions is expected. The dress code requires proper attire for safety, and employees are required to wear personal protective equipment when handling chemicals.

This is a Permanent position based out of Sebewaing, Michigan.

This is a Direct Hire position. This is NOT a temporary or contractor position.

When hired on you will be on the companies payroll as their employee.

Pay rate = $20.16/hr

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $40705.00 - $40705.00/yr.
