We are seeking a General Foreman experienced in commercial building projects for our Tampa Area office. The pay rate is competitive and based on experience. Local candidates are preferred. **As a General Foreman for our Tampa Buildings Division, you will play a pivotal role by:** + Reading and interpreting construction plans and specifications, ensuring work is executed to the highest standard. + Coordinating and overseeing multiple crews and subcontractors to ensure timely and efficient workflow. + Planning and scheduling daily activities and resources, including crane usage and material deliveries. + Monitoring labor productivity, safety compliance, and quality of work. + Leading and developing teams, promoting a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement. + Ensuring compliance with all company safety policies and procedures, and maintaining secure, organized job sites. + Managing the installation of commercial building components, including structural, architectural, and MEP elements. + Conducting regular site walkthroughs, look-ahead planning, and progress reporting to project management. + Securing and maintaining all tools, equipment, and materials at the end of each workday. **What you will bring to the role:** + Strong track record of reliability and attendance, with references from previous employers. + Current safety certifications (OSHA 30 or equivalent) are a plus. + 10+ years of experience in commercial building construction, with at least 5 years in a supervisory or foreman role. + Ability to perform and direct tasks that require lifting up to 35 pounds regularly and occasionally up to 50 pounds. + Excellent coordination, communication, and organizational skills. + Capable of navigating commercial job sites, climbing ladders and scaffolding, and working in various weather conditions. + Experience with commercial construction techniques, including concrete, steel, carpentry, and interior finishes. + Ability to work in close contact with others and manage crews with professionalism. + Pre-employment drug testing required.
